COMPLETION OF EXECUTIVE OPERATION OF LAGHAR DIVERSION DAM

DESCRIPTION:

Laghar diversion dam is located at about 46.- kilometers to the south of Ghir (city) and nearly 10.- kilometers to the south of Abgarm village. Laghar Diversion Dam was constructed for the purpose of raising the water table and facilitating the intake possibility and safe diversion of Ghahreh Anhaj River stream for irrigating 8,250.- hectares of Laghar plains.

SPECIFICATIONS:

The finishing operations of the said diversion dam include:

• Link canal, retaining walls, protective dykes, earthen dykes and berms, etc.
• Excavation: 400,000.- cubic meters
• Reinforcement: 35.- tons
• Formwork: 12,000.- square meters
• Concrete Placing: 15,000.- cubic meters
